Privacy Policy.
Globeskool is built by OmniNomadLLC, a Wyoming, USA company. We collect as little as we can, we never sell it, and we never advertise to your child. This page explains exactly what we hold, who helps us process it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
Globeskool today is two things: the free Future Readiness Assessment, and the learning platform, which is live as a private, invite-only beta. This section covers both.
The free assessment. When you complete it, we collect:
- Your email address, so we can send you the report and reach you about it.
- Your child's first name or nickname, which is optional.
- Your child's age, which must be between 8 and 16.
- Your assessment answers, including the short notes you write in your own words, used to build the report.
To confirm a parent gave consent and to keep the service secure, we also record limited technical information with each submission: the time you submitted, your consent acknowledgment, your IP address, and your browser type. We do not build advertising profiles from any of this, and we do not track you across other websites.
The learning platform (private beta). When your family uses the platform, we also collect:
- Your parent account: your name, email address, and password. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text.
- Your child's profile: a first name or nickname, age, and the avatar or archetype they choose.
- A child login username, if you set one up: children sign in with a username, never an email address, and we collect no contact details from a child. You manage and reset the password as the parent.
- Learning activity: the answers and free text your child types in missions, the work they create, their progress and points, and the learning-profile signals we derive from these to adapt difficulty and encouragement.
We do not collect a child's last name, home address, phone number, precise location, or photos.
How we use it
We use what you share for a short list of purposes: to build your child's personalized Future Readiness Report and email it to you, to answer a question you send us, and to honor a request to view, export, or delete your data. If and when the paid plan opens, we will also use it to set up and bill the subscription you choose. We do not use it for anything else.
On the learning platform, we use your family's data to run and personalize your child's learning: mission answers and the free text your child types are assessed by AI to grade work, give hints, and adapt what comes next, and your child's progress is shown to you in the parent dashboard. We never use any of it for advertising.
Who processes it for us
We do not run every piece of technology ourselves. A small number of trusted service providers process data strictly on our instructions, only to deliver the service, and never for their own purposes:
- Anthropic powers our AI. For the free assessment, we send it your child's first name, age, and the short notes you write, so it can produce the personalized report. On the learning platform, it processes the answers and free text your child types and the work they create, to grade, hint, teach, and generate learning content; for those platform features we never send your child's name or any contact details.
- Resend delivers our email, so it handles your email address and the report we send you.
- Hetzner hosts our application and database on secured servers, where your data is stored.
- Stripe processes payments. This applies only once the paid plan opens; while Globeskool is in its coming-soon phase, no payment is taken, so no payment data is shared.
Our website analytics are self-hosted and cookieless. We measure page visits on our own server without cookies and without sending your browsing to any third-party advertising network.
We never sell or advertise to your child
We have never sold a child's data, and we never will.
We do not sell personal information, we do not share it with third parties for advertising, and we never show your child ads. The service providers above are not buyers of your data: they are vendors who process it for us, under contract, only to run Globeskool.
How long we keep it
We keep your assessment data for up to 12 months, then remove it. If you ask us to delete it sooner, we do. Two narrow exceptions exist because the law requires them: we keep a minimal consent and audit record (which stores your email only as a one-way cryptographic hash, never in the clear) for up to seven years as proof that a parent consented under COPPA, and, if you ever buy a subscription, we keep the billing records that tax and finance rules require.
Learning-platform data is kept for as long as your family's account is active, or until you ask us to delete it, which we honor promptly.
Children's privacy (COPPA)
Everything at Globeskool starts with a parent. The assessment is designed for a parent or legal guardian to complete on behalf of their child. On the learning platform, the parent creates the family account, consents before a child uses the app, and manages everything. A child can be given their own login to use the platform themselves: it uses a username, never an email address, and password management and reset run through the parent. We collect no contact details from a child.
We designed Globeskool around the principles of the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA): we collect only what is needed, we rely on parental consent, and we never sell, share, or use a child's data for advertising. A formal legal review of our COPPA compliance is in progress. If you believe a child's data has reached us without a parent's involvement, email privacy@globeskool.com and we will delete it.
Your rights as a parent
Your child's data is yours. At any time you can ask us to:
- View it: we will send you everything we hold for your child.
- Export it: in a readable format, within 48 hours.
- Delete it: permanently, with confirmation once it is done.
Send your request to privacy@globeskool.com from the email address you used for the assessment, or use the Manage your data page. These rights apply to everyone, not only residents of a particular state.
California rights and Do Not Sell or Share (CCPA)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to access and delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing.
We do not sell or share your personal data, ever. Under the CCPA, "sharing" means disclosing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do neither, so there is nothing to opt out of. Using service providers to run the service, as described above, is not a sale or a share. The access and deletion rights above apply to everyone. To exercise any of them, email privacy@globeskool.com.
How we protect it
Data travels to and from our site over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to stored data is limited to the people who need it to run the service. Account passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. Parent accounts can be protected with two-factor authentication, and a child's login has no email address attached: you manage and reset it as the parent. In our consent and audit records, your email is stored only as a one-way hash rather than in the clear, so those long-lived records cannot be read back as plain contact details. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep what we hold small on purpose, which is the strongest protection of all.
Where we operate
Globeskool is a US service, and your data is stored on our servers in the United States. The website, the assessment, and the report are offered in the United States, and access to them from the European Union, the United Kingdom, the EEA, and Switzerland is geo-blocked while we prepare a European launch. The learning platform is currently a private beta: accounts are created by invitation only.
Visitors from those regions are instead shown a coming-soon page where they can, if they choose, join a waitlist by leaving their email address. That email is the only personal data we collect from EU, UK, EEA, and Swiss visitors. We collect it on the basis of your consent, we confirm it by double opt-in (you click a link we email you), we use it only to tell you when Globeskool opens in your region, and you can unsubscribe from any message or ask us to delete it at any time via privacy@globeskool.com. The confirmation email is delivered through our US email provider (see "Who processes it for us"), so your email address is transferred to the US for that purpose.
Changes to this policy
As Globeskool grows, this policy may change. When it does, we update the effective date at the top of the page, and for any change that materially affects your rights or how we use your data, we will tell you before it takes effect.
